It would really do you good to fall for things once in awhile. Carpets and bathtubs are particularly good candidates, as they lend themselves quite well to falling into while falling for.
I’ve always thought bathtubs to be quite beautiful things, although on the daily, let’s just say nothing compares to a shower. Who’s got time for just relaxing, indulging your most delicious thoughts and enjoying pleasantly warm water and bath bombs these days?
Carpets can be assuredly disgusting if neglected, but on the flip side, a clean, fluffy, soft rectangle of paradise awaits you like no other object in a well-furnished home can bring. For those who find too much comfort in their beds, the carpet is also decidedly well suited for “I’ll just take a 20 minute nap” as the still shining lights and hard floor beneath are the perfect reminder to open those bleary eyes and get going again.
Still, when you finally find yourself with a moment to breathe, let your eyes follow along the curves of white porcelain, remembering how it once seemed like a vessel that could take you to far off seas filled with as many bubbles and fantasy marine creatures as you could possibly want, or lay your tired head in the soft pink strands, eyes open as you look at the ceiling and visualize the great big sky and stars beyond these walls that keep you boxed in most days.
